Despite its mountain setting in Fukui’s Okuetsu region, SKI JAM KATSUYAMA remains easily accessible from major cities across western and central Japan.
From Osaka, the journey is around 3.5 to 4 hours in total, combining limited express train travel and a short final transfer from Fukui Station. Kyoto is similar at about 3 to 4 hours, while Nagoya is roughly 3 to 3.5 hours.
From Komatsu Airport, the resort is about 1 to 1.5 hours away by car, with an easy onward connection into the mountains.
